What are Chiropractic treatments and do they hurt?

Is Chiro painful?

A Chiropractic treatment is the mobilization and/or manipulation of joints, muscle and other soft tissue to help restore the body back to a normal homeostasis. Chiropractic treatments also may include exercises to improve the patients range of motion as well as strength. Chiropractic treatments do not hurt, in fact the manipulation techniques that are used at Elite Physio are safe and comfortable and leave the patient feeling relaxed and relieved even after their visits. Some advanced muscle release treatments may cause some discomfort during the treatment, depending on the severity of the issue, but the relief of muscle pain and dysfunction definitely outweighs the temporary discomfort.
