Dental Health and Tooth Fillings

By: Dr. Debra Matson, D.D.S., Sep 02, 2014
  Question

What is a composite filling? And how does it compare to a regular filling?

How do I choose?

Composite fillings are tooth coloured, durable, and are used to restore teeth with small to medium sized fillings. White fillings, when placed properly can now outlast silver filings in many situations, and the materials and 'glue' used with them are only getting better each year.
