Are naturopathic doctors’ visits covered by OHIP?

Do provincial health care plans cover visits to a naturopath?

Dr. Kandis Lock answers: Currently, OHIP and other provincial health plans do not cover naturopathic medicine. However, many extended health care benefit plans do provide coverage. Check your benefits package, or call your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.
