Feeling pressured to talk?

Do I have to talk to my massage therapist when I’m getting a massage?

You don’t have to get chatty when you’re getting a massage

During a massage you can be as talkative or quiet as you please. When your RMT asks how the pressure or how your massage is feeling to you, I would encourage you to be honest. Many people are afraid to voice their opinion if the massage is too light or too deep, and they may feel dissatisfied after the treatment. The only way for the massage therapist to adjust is through your feedback.
