Take Time To Nourish Your Social Media Sites

There are a lot of people that are afraid of it simply because they do not understand or think that they do not have the time for it. These people might think differently after they read this. These focus on a few of the pain points that a lot of people think about before even trying or opening up the computer.

I have to share with you the top 3 conversations I have with people about social media. There are a lot of people that are afraid of it simply because they do not understand or think that they do not have the time for it. These people might think differently after they read this. These focus on a few of the pain points that a lot of people think about before even trying or opening up the computer.

1. I do not have time for Facebook so I do not need it!

I want to share a story with you. My husband runs a family business that started in the late 60’s and he does not have a website. I told him to set up a Facebook page as there are a lot of his clients (older return clients) that cannot find him on line. After pulling some teeth, he created a Facebook page for his business. He did not do anything to this page but set it up. After time went by, his Facebook page was on the first page of internet search. He even received messages from old customers that were looking for him asking if they were still open and in business. Needless to say he was happy he did this and started to engage in conversations on Facebook. His customers that are active on Facebook started posting on his wall. Amazing right? This is how it can work for you! Since I’ve shown you how easy it can be with big benefits, here is the link https://www.facebook.com/business . As some famous sports company once said: Just Do It! Don’t worry about posting every day. Take small steps and just build it!

2. I am not into that social media stuff!

So here’s the deal: the social media “stuff” is not going away. You need to get on board with this ship or you will be left on an island all on your own while your competitors are having a big luau with your clients.

If you are a business owner and you have 200 clients in your contacts, I would hazard a guess that at least 100 of them are active on social media. So if you were to get 50% of this 100 to like, post or interact with you in some way online (and I am low balling here for you) eventually you could grow that to about 500 contacts really fast. How? If just 50% of the 100 clients like, repost or forward your information through social media, you’ve now used their contacts for great word of mouth promotion of your business! For FREE!

3. I do not know how to use it!

Ok. I refuse to accept this answer and will call it what it is: an excuse. If retired people are being active on social media, you as a business owner that has something to promote and is looking for more clients have to learn about social media! And it is really easy. Since knowledge is power, I’d like to empower you with these social media resources to help you start your journey! Here are some videos that we’ve created to help businesses just like yours get started on social media: Learn with HealthLocal.ca

Do not think about it just do it! That’s what I tell my Yogafit group when I tell them to give me 20 squats and they look at me like I’m crazy. It’s the same with learning about social media: just do it!

Here’s another 3: Pick a social media platform. Pick an email. Pick a password. Then get going! Welcome to social media club for your business. We all complain about it but once we see how successful it is, we all love every minute of it. The best part? It is FREE!!!!!
