Slowing down the mind!

I cannot seem to get my mind to slow down, what are some things I can do to help with this and have less stress?

Breathing! When taking the time to slow down and your mind is spinning, what helps me is to practice deep breathing. Acknowledge your thoughts that come into your mind, then (puff) blow it out and always come back to the breath.

I listen to Robert Munroe music to take me to a place where there is no time and no space.

Doing stretching of the body with breath is a great combo, like yoga, tai chi, chi qong. Being present and not allowing the past or the future weigh you down.
