Born and raised in the Waterloo Region Shelley holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. Growing up in the country, Shelley appreciates the calm, relaxed and peaceful atmosphere of St. Agatha where she meets with her clients. She has experience providing professional therapeutic services to clients across life stages in a variety of settings.
With many years in the field, Shelley is committed to supporting individuals and families enhance their own health and their ability to cope, adapt and thrive in difficult circumstances. Shelley has a compassionate and strengths-based approach when working with individuals. In addition to other interventions and techniques, she has found that Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an extremely useful approach when working with a wide variety of concerns. She works collaboratively with her clients to set goals and move towards personal wellness.
Shelley is a member in good standing of the Ontario College of Social Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
