Cleaning & Consultation

We all know that good oral hygiene keeps your teeth looking clean and shiny, but did you know that it's also essential to your overall health? It's true, poor oral hygiene can lead to a variety of dental and medical problems such as gum disease, infection, heart disease, stroke, and even diabetes.

That's why dentists recommend that teeth be cleaned professionally twice a year. Teeth cleaning is the removal of dental plaque and tartar in order to prevent cavities, gingivitis and gum disease. The average dental cleaning is a routine procedure that takes 30 to 60 minutes.

  • Made of a mixture of plastic and acrylic materials, composite restorations have a natural tooth-like appearance and can be used on all teeth. Composite fillings bond directly to the tooth structure, reducing the risk of leakage. The aesthetically pleasing tooth is restored to its original function.

  • Also referred to as a cap, a crown is a full-coverage restoration permanently cemented to the affected tooth structure. It restores the anatomical surfaces of a damaged or contoured tooth to their original contour and function.

  • Restore your smile by bridging the gap between missing teeth with a dental prosthesis, also known as a bridge. Used to replace one or more missing teeth in the same arch. It restores cosmetics, provides solid support to the structure of the jaw and prevents adjacent teeth from shifting.

  • These natural-looking alternatives to silver fillings are usually made from porcelain. Inlays and onlays are used to fill most types of cavities and are almost impossible to distinguish from natural teeth.

  • When a tooth becomes infected or badly decayed, one way to save it is by performing a root canal. This procedure involves removing the pulp, or nerve, of the affected tooth and then replacing it with a rubber insert. A crown is then placed on the tooth to give it strength.

  • When a tooth is badly broken or infected and cannot be clinically restored then the tooth requires extraction.

  • Missing teeth can be replaced by partial/ complete denture to restore function and provide support to the soft tissues.

  • Night guards are custom made when Grinding and/or clenching are a concern, causing TMJ (Tempromandibular Joint ) pain or disorder.

  • Custom-fitted mouth guards provide the greatest degree of fit, comfort and protection because they are made from a cast to precisely fit your teeth. At Bronte Dental, we will make an impression of your teeth and use it as a mold to create a custom-fitted mouth guard.

  • During a preventive care visit, our dentist or dental hygienist will examine your teeth for signs of decay. The hygienist, who specializes in the cleaning and maintenance of teeth and gums, will remove any tartar, hardened plaque also known as calculus that has accumulated on your teeth.

  • Our staff will assist you to book regular appointments to meet the needs of your schedule and dental care requirements.

  • Thorough Clinical screening for Oral Cancers.

  • SAFER: Reducing radiation by up to 90% compared to traditional film-based X-Rays.
  • HEALTHIER: eliminating the need to use caustic chemicals in the office.
  • FASTER: producing images that can be viewed immediately by you and your dentist. To make them even easier to see, we'll enlarge them on a large monitor and lighten or darken them for best viewing.
  • BETTER: providing more diagnostic information that enables your dentists to identify problem areas earlier. Detecting a cavity sooner and smaller than before means we can fix it earlier, before it seriously weakens your tooth. EASIER: with images stored on the computer that can be quickly duplicated for insurance company claims and other records.

  • Dental sealants are a dental treatment consisting of applying a composite material to one or more teeth, for the intended purpose of preventing dental caries (cavities) or other forms of tooth decay.

  • This process involves cleaning the crown of the tooth and below the gum line where plaque is often trapped. The Dentist/ Hygienist will polish your teeth after they are scaled.

  • Repair, improve and enhance your teeth and oral health.
  • Root Canals, Fillings, Crowns, Bridges Implants, Dentures and Partials restore your smile and ultimately increase your confidence.

  • Teach your children positive dental habits from the start.
  • Their first visit (within six-months of their first tooth).
  • Sealants and fluoride treatments (to help prevent cavities).

  • Bronte Dental’s goal is to make sure you receive a same-day appointment with any dental emergency.
