Chiropody helps you maintain overall health with professional foot careA Chiropodist is an important member of your health care team. At Step by Step Professional Family Foot Care, we are dedicated to improving your quality of life by improving and maintaining your foot health, and we love what we do!

Your feet carry you through your day, squished into pointy toed heels, sweating in hot heavy work boots, or walking around on flat, worn out soles. They work hard and play hard, both of which can result in strains and injuries. Your feet age, the skin gets dry, wet, rubbed, and irritated. Joint pain from arthritis can become overwhelming, and if you have diabetes, they are at a higher risk of infections and injury which could lead to serious consequences for your health.

If your feet hurt, or if they are causing knee or back pain, you are less likely to exercise and stay active. You know it’s important for your health, but you can’t put yourself through additional pain and discomfort; it’s hard enough to get through your day at work and your other errands and responsibilities. With persistent foot pain or irritations, your quality of life suffers, but you don’t have to just put up with it. A Chiropodist can help, and if you are close to the Greater Toronto Area, Step by Step Professional Family Foot Care would be happy to find a solution that works for you.

When you take care of your feet, your feet let you take care of everything else you have going on in your day. A Chiropodist can help you and your feet feel better and stay healthy. At Step by Step Professional Family Foot Care, we treat a variety of foot problems associated with skin irritations, toenail care, flat feet, hammer toes, and bunions, knee pain, lower back pain, and specialized treatment of arthritis, diabetes, sports injuries, and pediatric conditions. See our website for a detailed list of services, common problems, and specialties we can help you with.

Don’t forget that your children can also benefit from a foot assessment and treatment. Conditions that may be present in childhood, such as in toeing or out toeing, flat feet, low arches, muscle cramps, and persistent pain and swelling can be more easily treated if the child is seen before adulthood.

Don’t let foot pain, knee pain, or lower back pain keep you on the couch. Make an appointment with Step by Step Professional Family Foot Care and let’s talk about how we can get you on your feet again, and keep you there.
