Human bodies are experts at automation, making even the most complex actions effortless the more we do them. The trouble is we can become so skillful that we lose sight of what we're doing. When we suddenly feel overloaded, many of us blame ourselves for being weak because we only see that one new thing we've just started doing, not the many others we've been doing all along, but without awareness. Learning to be mindful of what's really going on allows you to make more conscious choices of what you really want to be doing.
