What is Cold Laser Therapy?

An effective way to reduce inflammation

In 1967,  Endre Mester of the Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary experimented with cold laser and found that shaven hair grew back more quickly in rats with laser light than those who didn’t. This led to research into the effects of laser which have been used in three main ways: reduce inflammation, promote healing of wounds in deep tissues and to treat neurological disorders and pain.

Cold Laser is painless and is able to penetrate deep into the tissue to stimulate cellular healing within the body. Research continues to explain the benefits that people have with laser therapy especially chronic pain and arthritic conditions as well as acute sprains/strains.  Patients usually report relief and within 6 to 8 sessions.   It can be used alone or in conjunction with other therapies.
