My name is Kimberley Goyette, and I welcome you to Cape of Good Hope Counselling Services. The relationship between counsellor and client is collaborative, and one that is built on trust, mutual respect, and dignity. I view myself not only as a trained counsellor and therapist providing a safe place bound by confidentiality, but as a medium for change and a stepping stone for people who want or need an objective and trained ear.
At Cape of Good Hope Counselling, I believe that counselling can provide a place of support where your experiences are validated, in a confidential, supporting environment. My goals are to engage my clients in the process of change, and to enhance clients' coping skills in order to promote individual growth and development.
