My Doctor has referred me to physiotherapy, if I want to come to your clinic what measures are being taken to ensure my safety?

When we are ready for you to join us, we will text you and direct you to the appropriate entry door. Prior to entering our clinic, we ask that you put your mask on.

Our clinic is open by appointment only as we are limiting the number of people inside the building.  We prefer that you do not drop in to book your assessment.  When you call to book your assessment, you will learn that we are offering both in-person and online virtual appointments.  Virtual appointments remain the safest and often the most convenient choice but if in person is indicated you will be informed of our new procedures and protocols. Everyone booking an assessment with us will receive their intake paperwork and questionnaires by email to be completed and submitted before their initial assessment.

We are now using a remote, text based, check-in system. When you arrive for your appointment, we ask that you stay in your vehicle and text us (by replying to a reminder text you will receive the night before) to let us know you have arrived.  You will be then be redirected to our online COVID-19 screening tool.  If you do not use text or do not have data on your phone, you can call in and we will screen you over the telephone.  If any of the questions are answered ’yes’ we may choose to delay your visit or reschedule it to a virtual appointment.

When we are ready for you to join us, we will text you and direct you to the appropriate entry door.  Prior to entering our clinic, we ask that you put your mask on.  If you are unable to wear a mask, you may choose to wear a face shield.  We will ask you to sanitise your hands and also take your temperature with a non-contact forehead thermometer to ensure that you don’t have a fever.

As we are limiting the number of people in the clinic and gym area, you may be seen in the gym or in a private room so that we can ensure physical distancing.  We are also limiting the workout programme that we ask clients to do, so that we can keep clients moving through the clinic.  We are also now using a one-way system through the clinic; you will enter via one door and leave via another.  We use sanitised bins to move your outdoor wear from one door to the other, so it will be ready for you at the exit when you have finished your appointment.

We have also increased our cleaning protocols, using approved cleaning products, with an assistant tracking everything that a client touches and cleaning it immediately after use.  Our cleaning products need to sit for ten minutes to be effective and this means we are spacing out our appointments more.  Our staff are washing or sanitising their hands between every client contact.

Our Client Experience Coordinator is protected behind a plexiglass shield and we have markers on the floor indicating where we prefer you to stand.

All of these measures are equally important to ensure your safety along with that of our therapists and staff.  If you are not comfortable with the protocols that we have in place, a virtual session may be more appropriate.  We are open and ready to help you get back to living – proactively using which ever method works best: virtual, in person or both.  Just give us a call at 705 788 1480 to get started.
