Matthew has over 10 years of experience with Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. As well as practicing at the Health Center of Milton he currently provides palliative care at Dorothy Ley Hospice, is an instructor at the Toronto School Traditional Chinese Medicine, and has been a teacher and therapist for students with learning disabilities for 6 years.
In addition to his acupuncture practice Matthew has pursued martial arts since childhood and has a deep knowledge of body movements, body system interactions, breathing exercises and philosophies that affect how the body performs, suffers from stress and heals itself.
Matthew has developed a successful and integrated approach to treating injuries and diseases by stimulating the body’s natural healing responses. He believes strongly in approaching the body with the minimal amount of intervention for the most results. His unique background allows for the treatment of the whole body and root causes of imbalances that lead to injury, not just the symptoms.
