Having Difficulties Sleeping on your Side?

Helping you to sleep and wake up away from back and knee pain.

I have always been a side sleeper. I can’t sleep any other way. For years I have suffered from knee pain in bed, because I stack my legs. I started wearing long nightgowns, to stuff the extra material between my knees to cushion them. Not much help!

I decided to sleep with a pillow between my knees. This woke me up several times during the night, since it made it difficult to turn over, and then I usually lost the pillow during the night.
I figured a small pillow between my knees should do the trick, but I lost it repeatedly during the night. No help there!
It took over 2 years to develop Sleepy Kneez. I needed a shape that would cushion my knees, stay in place all night, and be thick enough to cushion my knees, without being uncomfortable In fact, I didn’t want to feel it at all, I just wanted it to cushion my knees, so I could sleep comfortably.

The pillow I designed worked wonders for me. I slept through the night pain free! I was elated, and excited every night, to attach my knee pillow to my leg before bed. It seemed amazing that after years of discomfort in bed, making it impossible to sleep more than a few hours at a time, everything had changed.
One other benefit that surprised me: No back pain when I got out of bed in the morning. What?! I started reading literature about sleeping on your side. All the articles talked of the importance of correct sleep posture for pain free sleep. I thought the back pain was due to my age, and exercising, which I had stopped doing, but saw no improvement. Turns out that when sleeping, you must align your hips (if you sleep on your side), and keep your spine in a neutral position.
This has really changed my life: No knee pain, no back pain, and I love going to sleep now. Sleepy Kneez
