Samantha MacDonald is thrilled to be working at Westshore Wellness. She has always wanted to work in a multidisciplinary clinic, to give her patients the best options for recovery. Sam has lived in the Westshore area all her life and is thankful she can finally give back to her community. She graduated from the 3000-hour program from West Coast College of Massage Therapy here in Victoria. Though out her schooling she loved learning how many ways massage therapy can help someone not just with muscle strains but also someone who has central and peripheral nervous system problems, respiratory difficulties, digestive issues, as well as someone going through pregnancy or training for sporting events.
While in school Samantha learned many techniques to help tailor each treatment to her patient’s needs such as general Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, craniosacral therapy, muscle energy techniques, myofascial release techniques and has a certification for the basic level of Dr. Vodders’ Manual Lymph Drainage.
When not in the clinic, you will find her on royal roads walking her dogs, practicing archery, or at home working on a new sewing project.
