Kim Ruzycki of Picky Diet Wellness is a Board Certified Integrative Health Coach that takes a holistic approach to helping you feel and look your best. She created her practice to provide nutrition, health and wellness consulting and weight loss coaching in the communities of Ancaster, Burlington & Hamilton ON.

Her personalized individual coaching sessions focus on nutrition as well as lifestyle factors such as stress management, physical activity, sleep and emotional wellbeing to encompass whole body health. Her website Picky Diet features simple, nutritious plant based recipes, however her health coaching programs embrace all healthy diets, food and lifestyles.

Kim also does workshops, speaking events, plant based cooking classes and corporate wellness to inspire and educate others on improving their health in simple, real life ways.

All classes are held at The Casual Gourmet - a beautiful kitchen store in Hamilton, Ontario. Classes are small and interactive with lots of time for questions and discussion. Healthy Habits - 6 Week Online Program

This is a 6 week online program that makes simple daily healthy habits a part of your life...EVERYDAY!

Each Sunday morning you will receive an email outlining the new, simple Healthy Habit for that week. The email will have details on the habit, tips and tricks for success and how to easily implement it into your life.

This is not a diet or a detox or a 'lose weight fast' program - this is about creating healthy habits that become your lifestyle. No more last minute diets before a vacation or unrealistic New Years resolutions - this will simply be your life - lived healthy. And the results will follow...

Custom 7 Day Meal Plans

Planning and making creative, healthy recipes can be a difficult part of your health and wellbeing and yet it is so important. Home cooking is a vital part of reaching your health goals or dealing with a health concern.

This is why I'm happy to offer you a custom 7 day meal plan. It takes all the pressure off coming up with ideas, finding healthy recipes and deciding what to buy at the grocery store.

These meal plans are all made specifically for you. I take into consideration your likes, dislikes, allergies, intolerances and dietary preferences (vegan, vegetarian, keto, nut free, pescatarian, etc) I also work with your health goals (weight loss, more greens) and any health concerns (diabetes, acne, high cholesterol, autoimmune disease) to create a plan that works for you! 45 Minute Health & Nutrition Session

This is a 45 minute phone/video chat session - time to ask any nutrition or health questions or seek advice about any concerns you may have.

We can talk food, recipes, wellness or dive deeper into topics like weight loss, implementing good eating habits, managing food intolerances, reducing food cravings, resolving skin issues, lowering your cholesterol, managing auto-immune diseases, or whatever it is that you need.

You will receive a follow up email with the session notes, recommendations and possible recipes or handouts specifically tailored for you.

This program is about shifting your habits to a healthier lifestyle that is manageable and sustainable. I will teach you healthy life skills and changes that you will use for the rest of your life. No more crazy diets, insane workouts or juice cleanses - this is real life and we work on real life changes so that every day is healthy, not just certain ones.

No one way of eating works for everyone so we will explore different parts of your lifestyle to set personal goals that you can actually reach without turning your life upside down. Yes the Picky Diet blog is based on a plant based diet, but the nutrition and health coaching program works with all different diets and foods depending on what works best for you. 4 Week Personal Health & Nutrition Coaching

This is a 4 week program - enough to give you a fresh start and get comfortable with your new health and nutrition habits.

We will talk for 30 minutes once a week for the four weeks via telephone or video chat. We will set your personal goals - whether that is weight loss, implementing good eating habits, managing food intolerances, working through a disease diagnosis, reducing food cravings, resolving skin issues, lowering your cholesterol, managing auto-immune diseases, or whatever it is that you need.

We will then create a plan that will give you the information and tools you need to realistically reach your goals including simple healthy foods and recipes, nutritional info, handouts specially customized for you, book recommendations, skills in self care, tips for sticking with your goals when travelling or eating out, understanding your relationship with food and learning how food affects your body and mind. 16 Week Personal Health & Nutrition Coaching

This is a 4 month program - and I'll stop there because I know that seems like a long time, however this is the length of time it takes for healthy changes to become habits. Also this gives us time to work though possible vacations, holidays or other events that can cause a blip in our nutritional goals.

We meet twice a month for about an hour either in person (if you are local) or via telephone or video chat. We will set your personal goals - whether that is weight loss, implementing good eating habits, managing food intolerances, working through a disease diagnosis, reducing food cravings, resolving skin issues, lowering your cholesterol, managing auto-immune diseases, or whatever it is that you need.

We will then create a plan that will give you the information and tools you need to realistically reach your goals including simple healthy foods and recipes, nutritional info, fitness and exercise info and programs, handouts specially customized for you, books, food samples, pantry and fridge makeovers, skills in self care, tips for sticking with your goals when travelling or eating out, reducing your stress, understanding your relationship with food and learning how food affects your body and mind. What is a health coach?

A Health Coach is someone that works with you to make effective, manageable changes to achieve your health and wellness goals. There are no crazy diets or detoxes. We work towards changing your habits so that your whole lifestyle becomes a healthy one that keeps you feeling and looking your best. 

How do the programs work?

There are a couple different program options - the first one is a "jump start" that is one month long and the second (and most effective) one is four months long - giving us time to really start to see some major changes and work through real-life challenges. 

Regardless of which program you choose, on our first session, we dig right into your health goals and then create a strategic plan on how we will achieve them. From there we work together to carry out the plan for success - whatever that looks like for YOU. Sessions typically are over the phone or video chat and there are always email follow-ups with recommendations, resources, recipes, etc. to keep you on track. I am available for sessions by email or text.

Kim Ruzycki, Integrative Health & Nutrition Coach

Kim is passionate about teaching others how to eat mindfully and live vibrantly. A series of chronic health issues gave her the motivation to learn about the relationship between her health and her diet.  After embracing a plant based diet and figuring out how to maintain a social life, enjoy traveling and ensuring she was getting all the correct nutrients and minerals - Kim realized how great she felt and how happy she was in her lifestyle.

She founded Picky Diet to share this with the world so that they might realize that they too can live happy and healthy with only a few small changes.  A graduate of the Health and Nutrition Coaching program from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, she is a Board Certified Integrative Health & Nutrition Coach and works with both individuals and corporations on nutrition and whole body wellness.
