Rick’s clinic is located on Lakeshore Drive between Gertrude Street East and MacDonald Street East in North Bay, Ontario. His background in Jiu jitsu made him knowledgeable about sports massage. He is also actively training in Jiu jitsu and Muay Thai.

Restorative yoga is the yoga of non-doing, and focuses on effortlessness and ease, using well-placed blankets, bolsters, yoga straps, and other props to safely support the body in various postures. This process invokes a natural state of balance, replenishment, and healing rest.
During your restorative yoga session, you will learn a set of restorative postures, complemented with gentle stretching, breathing, and meditation. Learn and feel the benefits of restorative yoga on the body, mind and soul, and its effect on your organs and nervous system.
Rick will guide you through the process of letting go so you can fully restore your body's heart and mind to a relaxed natural healing state.

Rick is a registered massage therapist that offers many other health services like yoga, reiki, Indian Head Massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy and more. Because of his background in jiu-jitsu, he has a wealth of knowledge in sports massage. Being a native to North Bay he loves the outdoors, being one with nature and connecting to the natural order of life. He started his journey with massage therapy but it bloomed into much more.
Rick Brandl RMT offers more than just massage therapy he is very knowledgeable, caring and helpful taking a holistic approach (in other words, he focuses on the whole person). With his 22 years of experience clients feel comfortable and secure with each treatment given.
Rick’s training in Hawaiian Shamanic ways, ho' o pono pono, Higher Self Therapy and Grief Recovery Specialist as well really allows him to connect with his clients on a higher level to alleviate mental and physical pain. This getting them back to a better life!
Sports massage is used as a preventive medicine for many athletes before, during and after sporting events. A combination of techniques such as Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Trigger point and Relaxation before an athletic event can prepare the athlete for an increased better performance. During events to keep the muscles loosened and warmed up to reduce injuries and after a hard workout to rid the body of stress, relieve fatigue and remove toxins and by products the body produces in strenuous activity.
Craniosacral Therapy is gentle manipulation of the bones of the skull. Alignment and balance of the craniosacral system that encompasses the cranium, including the face and mouth, bones of the skull, fluid that is around the brain, spinal cord, and down to the sacrum. The theory is the therapist uses light pressure in specific areas of the craniosacral system to activate the natural healing of the body by moving the fluid within this system to remove restricted area’s and create natural balance, energy flow and function to the nervous system. Some common problems that are treated with craniosacral therapy include chronic pain, chronic headaches, scoliosis, whiplash, muscle tension and even the common cold.
