Global Physiotherapy Sherwood Park Inc. also provides a women’s health assessment to determine what is the cause of urinary incontinence; they will help you resolve your women’s health issue and “Keep Active for Life”. Global Physiotherapy Sherwood Park offers treatments that help alleviate back pain, headaches, neck pain and chronic pain. Their main objective is to identify the local injured structures and guide you on a rehabilitation program to prevent the injury from coming back.

Cindy graduated from UBC and for over 25 years, she has continually upgraded her knowledge and skills to provide a global approach to treating muscle, nerve and joint pain. She has worked for the Canadian military, The Scarborough Hospital in Toronto and private physiotherapy clinics in Quebec, Ontario and Sherwood Park, Alberta.
Cindy uses her knowledge and experience to assess pain problems in detail. The choice of advanced orthopedic manual therapy assessment and IMS evaluation of neuropathic pain identify potential sources of pain.
Yvonne completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta. She has worked in a private practice setting since 2010 and has completed numerous post-graduate courses. She enjoys working with all age groups and conditions with a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, returns to sport and physical activity, and post-operative rehabilitation. She values the importance of educating her clients on their diagnosis and injury prevention and uses techniques in manual therapy combined with acupuncture, dry needling and active exercise to achieve optimal function and a speedy recovery.
Outside of work, Yvonne enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, swimming, biking, skating and snowboarding. She also maintains an active lifestyle running & weight training.
Jeri graduated from the University of Alberta and has over 5 years of experience as a physiotherapist working in private practice. She has had the pleasure of working predominantly with an active population and enjoys their motivation and seeing them return to the activities that drive them. Jeri currently works Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 7 am and Saturdays starting at 8 am at Global Physiotherapy in Sherwood Park.
Jeri has her level 1 certification in manual therapy and is certified in acupuncture. She also has specific training in dealing with women’s health issues, which include pelvic floor dysfunction. Jeri is currently pursuing further course work in manual therapy and is trained in the application of Global Physiotherapy’s unique laser and Regenerative Photon TherapyTMsystem to promote soft tissue healing and decrease symptoms.
Charlotte graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy with Distinction. She has 25 years of orthopedic experience and enjoys treating people of all ages from 3-month-old infants to journeyed 90-year-olds and the challenges faced with each condition. Continuing education is of utmost importance to enhance her skills and knowledge and she was taught that the most challenging patients are the best teachers. Charlotte loves combining Western and Eastern medicine to treat the whole of a person for their overall wellness.
Leasa graduated from Dalhousie University’s physiotherapy program in Halifax after completing a BSc in Human Nutrition and a BSc in Biology. She has been practicing physiotherapy since 2000, first in Nova Scotia and, for the last 12 years, in Alberta. She has ample experience treating a variety of conditions including Whiplash (WAD), sprains/strains, sports injuries, arthritis, torticollis, TMJ dysfunction, repetitive strain injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation.
